Certificate IV in (NRT) Optical Dispensing Course No 18278 Training Pkg Health National Code HLT43507 Enables you to work as an optical dispenser, who fits prescribed lenses and spectacles. You can do this qualification as part of a traineeship. This course includes practical sessions. Entry requirements: NSW School Certificate or equivalent. You will also need access to an optical dispensary Career opportunity: Optical Dispenser. Certificate IV in (NRT) Optical Technology Course No 18279 Training Pkg Health National Code HLT43707 Enables you to work as an optical mechanic or optical technician making spectacle and/or lenses. This course does not qualify you to practise optical dispensing under supervision in NSW. You can do this qualification as part of a traineeship. This course includes practical sessions. While balancing a demanding job with running a household and looking after her young twin daughters, she undertook the Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing through OTEN. She felt she got the help she needed throughout the course. She said that as a result of the course she can carry out her duties more competently and her clients receive better service. Danielle is now undertaking a Diploma in Ophthalmic Practice Management and aims to be the best she can be in her chosen field of optics.
