Entry Requirements: NSW HSC or equivalent. Career Opportunities: You will develop various skills in communication, supervisory and organisational skills to enhance your career/study goals. Statement of Attainment in (NRT) Skills for Work and Training Course No: 9069 Description: Work and Training skills for people who wish to access employment, education and training to enhance their career and employment opportunities. Develop communication skills for accessing and maintaining employment. Gain skills to retrain or enter the workforce with vocational competencies and prepare for further education and training. Entry Requirements: There are no formal educational requirements. You must be able to read, comprehend and discuss printed information in English and write simple statements in English. Career Opportunities: You will develop various skills and knowledge to enhance your employment opportunities, career choices and other training opportunities. Certificate II in (NRT) Skills for Work and Training Course No: 9072 National Code: 91347NSW Description: Work and Training skills will be developed in this course for people who would like to gain skills to help them broaden their employment options. It includes units which will develop communication skills to obtain, retrain and maintain employment, and also includes electives in selected vocational areas. Entry Requirements: There are no formal educational requirements. However, you must be able to read, comprehend and discuss printed information in English and write simple statements in English and must have completed a Certificate I in vocational/ technical/general vocational training or equivalent. Career Opportunities: You will develop various skills in communication, supervisory and organisational skills to enhance your career and study goals. Transcript of Results Sustainability: Strategies and Practices Course No: 32000 WSI PLUS fee: $300 Description: Students will develop the skills and knowledge needed to promote sustainability in learning, work and community contexts, to develop practices that demonstrate social, environmental and economic sustainability and to establish sustainability policies and systems, manage the implementation of sustainability strategies, and evaluate and improve sustainability outcomes as an opportunity for innovation. Entry Requirements: There are no formal educational entry requirements for this course. Certificate III in (NRT) Vocational and Study Pathways Course No: 5000 National Code: 91348NSW Description: For Aboriginal people who want to develop skills and strategies for gaining employment and or participating in further study. This is a practical course with an emphasis on the development of literacy, numeracy, communication, study skills, technology/computer, workplace knowledge and awareness. Completion of this qualification provides you with the academic requirements for entry to the Police Academy, Department of Correctional Services and other government agencies. Entry Requirements: For Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people who hold a NSW School Certificate or equivalent. Career Opportunities: Employment and or further study. Transcript of Results Writing and Editing for Publication Course No: 32000 WSI PLUS fee: $500 Description: This course provides high level writing skills to plan and produce effective workplace documents. It also gives an understanding of editing documents, plus writing for the news media and for the World Wide Web. Entry Requirements: There are no formal educational entry requirements for this course. Career Opportunities: People in the workplace who need to write specific documents, in particular those which will be published.
