You will be required to submit a Prohibited Employment Declaration enabling you to take part in work based or practical activities. Entry Requirements: NSW HSC or equivalent, or NSW School Certificate or equivalent and relevant experience. Depending on the units you select to study, you will learn the skills needed to provide oral health education or prepare patients for general anaesthesia and conscious sedation. Entry Requirements: NSW School Certificate or equivalent plus Advanced Standing - Certificate III in Dental Assisting and you must be working in the industry. Career Opportunities: Dental Assistant. Certificate III in (NRT) Dental Assisting Course No: 18280 National Code: HLT31807 Description: For those who want to, or are working as a Dental Assistant. Transcript of Results Dental Assisting (Pathway to Clinical Work) Course No: 32000 WSI PLUS fee: $635 Description: This course will give the aspiring dental assistant an opportunity to experience what is required to work in this industry. At a later date when employment or work experience is achieved, the units of competency gained can be used toward a Certificate III in Dental Assisting. TAFE NSW Attendance Certificate Dental Assisting (Pouring Dental Impressions) Course No: 24044 WSI PLUS fee: $430 Description: This course enables employed dental assistants to increase their skills by learning how to pour dental impressions. This course requires a minimum number of students to run. It also includes one practical session.
