The main components of the course cover a range of competencies with due regard to humane handling, health, safety, hygiene, quality, productivity and regulatory requirements when culling game animals. Entry Requirements: For people intending to apply to the Meat Industry Authority (Safe Food NSW), National Parks and Wildlife Service and Health Department for a licence to cull game animals. Career Opportunities: Professional Game Animal Harvester. Statement of Attainment in (NRT) Canteen Operations - School Course No: 19571 WSI PLUS fee: $485 Description: This course is for people who work or intend working in the areas of food preparation in school canteens. It will enable canteen supervisors and workers to prepare healthy food and follow the national dietary guidelines for children. It also helps to meet the national requirements for Food Safety Training for people working in Hospitality and Food related areas. Entry Requirements: NSW School Certificate or equivalent. You will also need access to the internet. Career Opportunities: School Canteen Manager, Canteen Operators, Food Safety Officers. Statement of Attainment in (NRT) Develop and Implement a Food Safety Program Course No: 17988 WSI PLUS fee: $450 Description: This course is aimed at people who intend developing food safety programs for large complex organisations and who intend to advise food organisations on developing a food safety program. After successfully completing this course you will be able to develop, coordinate, implement and assess a food safety program. Entry Requirements: NSW School Certificate or equivalent. You will also need access to the internet. Career Opportunities: Food Safety Officers. Certificate III in (NRT) Events Course No: 18052 National Code: SIT30607 Description: This qualification provides you with the skills and knowledge to be competent in an administrative or operational events support role. The work would be undertaken in an office environment where event planning and organisation takes place, at an event site or a combination of both. Entry Requirements: NSW School Certificate or equivalent. The NSW Liquor and Gaming Regulation require students to be 18 years of age or older if they are undertaking units that involve the service of alcohol and/or gaming operations. You will also need access to the internet. Career Opportunities: Event Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Event Operations Assistant, Event Operative, Conference Assistant, Exhibition Assistant.
